Hello everyone! My name is Lee Persson, I’m 32 years old and I’ve been a Massage Therapist in Swedish massage since 2011. Certified by Hälsoteket, Malmö, Sweden. I continued to study the human body and became a Hatha Yoga Teacher, Certified by Agama Yoga, Koh Phangan Thailand 2013. And Yoga Alliance 500 hours It didn’t stop there so I continued with: Chi Nei Tsang massage (abdominal massage for detoxing the organs) Certified from Blue Garden, Chiang Mai, Thailand 2013. And Thai Yoga Massage for my Yoga clients and of course everyone else too. For those who wants a deeper stretch. Certified at The Sanctuary with Sebastian Bruno, Koh Phangan Thailand 2014 I did my first Reiki 1&2 levels at Orion Healing Center, Koh Phangan Thailand in 2014 and continued studying to become a Usui Holy Fire Master Teacher at Isla Mujeres, Mexico 2015.

Claudia is an English speaking personal trainer at the new gym next to La Capilla (kitty corner from Mango Cafe and Mini Super Roncos) and she’s offering sessions on physical fitness including nutrition and other elements every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 10am-1pm. The best part is she is DONATING the money collected during those times toLiberty School… the minimum donation suggested is $50 pesos for an hour with her (well under regular prices). Plus – the first time you go there is no gym fee so you can just try it out! Oh – and she speaks English too!

On Target Language Services by Christy Dix

Why not improve your Spanish skills while you are visiting or living here in Paradise?

Here on Isla Mujeres, Mexico, we help short and long term visitors and residents of all ages learn Spanish or raise their skill level. Our lessons are customized to each student’s goals, interests, language level and schedule.

Choose a combination of our services to compliment your schedule and budget, from private, semi-private and small group lessons as well as Spanish Boot Camps, which are offered November-March. These classes are intensive 3 day classes, providing an immersion experience focused on conversation — speaking and listening skills, vocabulary development and slang. Several levels are offered each month to help all language learners improve their skills. The dates will be announced soon…

Additionally we offer lessons via Skype for those who want to continue improving their skills before visiting or after leaving Isla Mujeres.

On Target Language Services’ owner Christy is a native Southern Californian with an undergraduate degree in Spanish and Education. She also holds a Master’s Degree in Latin American Literature and has seven years of teaching experience at a private college-prep K-12 school in Palos Verdes, CA, followed by successfully operating On Target Language Services, a private tutoring business in Torrance, CA for 5 years. She is now currently teaching Spanish classes in Isla Mujeres to students of all ages and levels. Her teaching philosophy is based on the communicative method, which focuses on authentic conversational skills. She believes in creating a fun and non-threatening learning environment so that students feel comfortable while learning. Christy believes that yes, you can have fun while you’re learning and living the language!
