Isla Mujeres is only 4 miles long and is easily accessible by renting a golf cart. There is a small beach club, Garrafon de Castilla, steps out your front door and a local path to snorkel in the gorgeous water any time you would like.
With bars and restaurants on the south end, there really isn’t much reason to need to go to town other than the hustle and bustle of night life, shopping and mingling with other tourists and locals.
Our home has recently been renovated and remodeled with beautiful custom furniture and offers daily housekeeping (except for Sundays & Holidays) and concierge services available to you.
Casa del Sol Naciente sits side-by-side with our other residence, Casa Mar Azul, which has the same floor plan.. You can view Casa Mar Azul directly via VRBO/Homeaway and just enter 3785397 in the search field and view house availability calendars (which are ALWAYS current.. my pet peeve) and current rental rates.If you choose to reserve both homes.. we do offer a reduced rate, of course. Each home has their own PRIVATE pool with the same amenities as Casa Mar Azul. Just finished construction rooftop entertaining areas with include sky bar with refrigerator, sink, etc. The perfect location for large family vacations, corporate retreats, weddings, group friend trips, etc. Family owned and operated (NOT a property management company) You will always deal directly with myself, the Homeowner. They can be combined to sleep 20 – 22 guests comfortably. Both homes are always meticulously maintained and are furnished beautifully. They can be rented together or separately.

The casitas are located in La Gloria, also known as “the heavens”. Imagine enjoying your morning coffee or evening cocktail while watching the sunset rise or set over the majestic Caribbean. For an even greater effect the roof top patio offers almost a full 360 degree view of the island and surrounding Caribbean. The mid-island location allows easy access for guests to experience the friendly culture and activities of the island. Take a leisurely stroll to the beach, convenience stores, restaurants or full service grocery store. Taxis are inexpensive and can take guests to the well-known North Beach, downtown and the South Point. Golf carts and scooters are also available for rent on the island.
The self-contained casitas are designed to provide guests with comfort at an affordable price. Each air-conditioned unit has a private bathroom, in-room safe, queen size bed and internet access. Each Casita has a small fridge with freezer, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker, blender, hot plate, dishes/utensils, ipod docking stations, hair dryers and table and chairs. The lower casita is poolside with a shaded porch. The upper casita has a balcony overlooking the pool. Both units have views of the ocean and use of an outdoor bar area. The property is fully fenced providing privacy without obstructing the ocean views.

Casa Isleño are so privileged to welcome you to our home on beautiful Isla Mujeres. Casa Isleño has been not only our family home, but a self catering apartment home since we built the building in 1966. We’ve raised our families here and we’re proud to have instilled the Island values and continue to live the Island Life. This building has a historical life and value that many can remember before the tourist boom in the 70’s and 80’s, but this was one of the first concrete buildings to be built in Downtown Centro.
Casa Isleño sits on the quiet street of Av Guerrero neighboring the former hospital and directly across the street from the world famous watering hole, Pita Amore’. It’s location is just walking distance to literally “everything” in Downtown Centro. Three blocks from one of the top 10 beaches in the world, Playa Norte. Less than one block to all the nightlife, restaurants & bars, grocery store and shopping on Hildago.
At Casa Isleño we don’t try to be something we are not. Never have and never will. We are not a hotel, we are not a B & B. We are self-catering short to long-term fully equipped apartment building with charm and history. We pride ourselves to make you feel like this is your home. Our management is off site and can be reached at a moment’s notice. housekeeping, Cleaning & Laundry Services are separate.
We offer location, convenience, charm and simplistic surroundings, as they were when there were only sand streets, wood thatched buildings and when only fisherman and their families walked the streets. We are so lucky to have had a Bohemian amongst us who traveled to a magical place that many did not. Enriquetta Morris, loving mother, grandmother, aunt, sister and friend picked up and never looked back.

For those looking for comfortable Isla Mujeres accommodations, we offer our spacious rooms with one king or two double beds. All rooms have air conditioning and ceiling fans, a mini fridge which is convenient for storing bottled water and snacks, and television. The bathrooms are beautifully decorated with Mexican talavera tiles, six of our rooms have bathtubs so that you can take a relaxing bubble bath after a day of sun. Be sure to read the room descriptions if you prefer a room with a bathtub.
For your comfort and enjoyment, Continental Breakfast is free, as well as unlimited use of wireless internet in all rooms.
We highly recommend making your reservations early since we have only twelve rooms and a lot of repeat guests. If we don’t have any rooms available, we encourage you to adjust the dates of your visit to Isla Mujeres so that you may be our guests.
